The National Stadium was filled up with Liverpool Reds fans on the Singapore vs Liverpool match. The giant banner, the never ending singing of Liverpool songs, and the Kallang wave turned the Kop stand into "Singapore Kop stand". Liverpool thrashed the National Team 5-0 and won the Merlion cup to start off their first piece of silverware for the season.
Dear Liverpool,
On behalf of all Liverpool Singapore Reds, we would like to thank you for coming to Singapore. The 4 days of visit may be a short trip but you have brought us to the "Top of the world".
