Prologue
This article's primary purpose is to provide any and all ardent fans & supporters of Liverpool FC with information about us "The Official Liverpool FC Fan Club Singapore", on who we are and what we intend to do - which is for the common love and support of Liverpool FC.

The Club's Objectives
i) Promote Liverpool Football Club in the sports community in Singapore.
ii) To co-ordinate with Liverpool Football Club in organizing events, soccer gatherings, fan fare in Singapore
iii) To realise the Anfield dreams of Singapore Reds
iv) To organize regular recreational activities for members
v) To organize charitable activities
vi) In furtherance of the above objects, the society may work with registered Liverpool Football Fan Club in other parts of the world.


How the present club is started
Our fan club, Official Liverpool FC Fan Club Singapore, a non-profit organization, was started at a meeting held at RELC on 23rd August 2000 attended by 23 Liverpool fans. An election was held with Mr. Henry Minjoot being the Club President.

Anfield confirmed our fan club's official status as the Singapore branch of the International Supporters Club with a letter dated 29 September 2000.

A new committee was elected at the meeting at Woodlands Zone 6 RC Center on 7 March 2001 with Mr. James Lim, taking over the presidency from Henry Minjoot. This was mandated in voting by the club's committee members.

The fan club received its approval letter from the Registry of Societies on 12 May 2001; the same day that Liverpool FC won the FA Cup 2001 against Arsenal FC. A significant milestone to commemorate the official legal status of the club in Singapore. Not long thereafter, we merged with Singapore Liverpool Supporters' Group, bringing together 2 local supporters' clubs into one single society.

To date - we have more than 5000 members signed up (and more to come) and we look forward in working harder in bringing more activities for our fans and members.


The Pioneer Committee
The first committee had a total of 19 Committee members serving in the club. They are:
