Liverpool visit in Singapore : 23 Jul 09 - 27 Jul 09
It was a short but very memorable visit for all Reds fans when Liverpool visited Singapore.
A night with Ian Ayre and Kenny Dalglish, public training session at National Stadium, River cruise on a sunny Saturday afternoon and a night of chants and kallang waves at the National Stadium on the Singapore vs Liverpool match on Sunday evening...
The banners that were submitted by you for the banner competition could also be seen at the Liverpool public training session at the National Stadium, at the various shopping centres where the Liverpool team appeared and along the bridges of the Singapore River when the Liverpool team toured Singapore on the boats. The banners also added colours to the KOP stand at the National Stadium on match day itself. Most important of all, the giant banner which was made by the fanclub was floating on the KOP stand when You'll Never Walk Alone was sung before the match began.
Thank you Liverpool, for making the Singapore visit a very memorable one for all of us.
And also a BIG thank you to all fellow Redders as you have showed Liverpool the "KOP stand" the Singapore Way.
You'll Never Walk Alone.
